This extraordinary creature feems to partake o f charaifters common to the Equitcs, as well as the
Pkheii. Fabricius, who defcribes it, refers it to the E a. Ac ii. in th e Entomologia Syftematica, b u t we
are perfuaded its charaaers are more decifively thofe o f the Plebeii. The fpecimen is from S iam .-C ab in c t
