or any other country. It i , a native of Amboyna, where we underftaml it is extremely rare, and bears a
confiderable price among the Dutch amateurs iu that iiland. W e obtained a pair o f them u , fine con-
dilion fome )ears ago from the cabinet of the late Mr. Tunflall, who had purchafed them m Holland,
from a collefllon made by one of the Dutch governors in Amboyna. This rarity is figured m a refimg
pofition on the bloflbms of the M im o s a G r a n d i f l o i ia .
