Head ihaking, or uiifteady, armed with jaws, and furniihed with filiform palpi. Antennas Cetaceous.
Wings four, membranaceous, convoluted, inferior ones folded. Anterior legs coinpreffed, ferrated with teeth
beneath, and armed with a fingle claw. Four pofterior ones fmooth, and formed for walking. Thorax
linear, elongated, and narrow.
