This moth agrees entirely with the Noctua Diofcore^ of Fabricius, Ent. Syß. T. 3. p . 2. p. l 6. n. 26.
except ill having a large green ftreak on the upper wings. It appears, indeed, to have been hitherto confounded
with that fpecies, either as a fexual difference, or variety; but we are perfuaded it is neither.
Both fexes of N. Diofcorere in particular, have occurred to our obfervation, without tins ftreak.—Found
in Bengal.
