The fimak differs from the male only in the colour of hiU and shape of casque. Both of
hese are black. The casque rises upright from the eulmen about one third from the point of
the maxilla, and extends to and a little over the head, and returns to the base of the maxilia
l.y an abrupt angle. It is sharp at its anterior face, but sweUs outwards towards the posterior
termination.
