Hill from eye to tip 7 inches, length of casque along eulmen 6, height 3, from lower edge of
mandible to top of casque 5, wing tail tarsus
Female.—Bill and casque yellow. The latter is a modified form of the male's, sloping'
forward gradually to the eulmen. Head, neck, and crest ferruginous; rest of plumage like that
of the male. The searlct on the lower part of the throat is apparently wanting.
