its cultivation.
Native of Jamaica.
Fronds deltoid, pubescent, sub-tripinnate; pinnules oblong-
linear; segments sharply toothed, largest on the superior side.
Stipes covered with scales of a brown colour, being most
crowded near the b.ase; lateral, adherent to a slender, creeping,
scaly rhizoma.
Sori medial, at first very pale straw-coloured.
Length twelve inches.
