T h e Aspidium Canariense is an interesting very distinct
Fern.
The fronds are bipinnate, membranaceous, and triangularly
elongate in form; apices acuminate. Pinnæ linear-lanceolate,
with acuminate apices. Pinnules oblong-ovate, basal ones pinnatifid;
margin dentate. Pinnæ and pinnules distant.
Veins forked.
Sori uniserial, distant, and conspicuous.
