A SOMEWHAT similar-looking species to the Aspidium puhescens
of Swartz, without the pubescence rvhich is so conspicuous in
that species.
An evergreen warm greenhouse Fern,
Native of New Holland.
Fronds cuneate in form, in some degree membranous, deltoid,
and tripinnate; pinnules oblong, inciso-pinnatifid, with dentate
segments.
Eacbis and midrib of pinnæ pubescent.
Stipes scattered over with small dark brown scales.
Fronds lateral, adherent to a creeping rhizoma.
Length of frond from eighteen to twenty-four inches; colour
light green.
Sori medial.
