Sori reniform, uniserial, on either side the primary veins,
are commonly situated on the middle of a venule.
Stipes scaly. Fronds terminal, adherent to an erect fasciculate
rhizoma.
Length of frond from twenty-four to thirty inches; colour
pale green.
Introduced into the Eoyal Gardens, Kew, in 1836, having
been introduced by (Messrs. Loddiges, but known in England
twenty years previous.
