Aspidium frondosum.—Ehizoma creeping on the surface.
Stipes very long, stout, and nearly erect; base very scaly.
Frond pentangular and quadri-tripiunate; length two to four
feet. Frond borne gracefully and almost horizontally on its
stalk. I t will probably prove hardy.
