A n evergreen stove species.
Native of the island of Ceylon.
Fronds glabrous, pinnate, lanceolate in shape. Pinnæ linear-
lanceolate, pinnatifid, suhpetiolate, bluntly wedge-shaped at the
base, and articulated with the rachis.
Stipes scaly. Fronds terminal, being adherent to a thick
creeping rhizoma.
Eachis of a pale chocolate colour.
Sori medial and unisorial.
