A VERY handsome and distinct Fern, having fertile fronds
different to the barren fronds.
An evergreen greenhouse species, at least usually considered
as such, but said to be hardy enough in our English climate,
having survived the winter of 1854-6 in the open air.
Native of Japan, and China, (in the neighbourhood of Hong-
Kong.)
