Perithecia subcorneous. Asci clavate. Sporidia septate, opake, at length
escaping like a black powder.—Rigid, becoming black, adnate and superficial,
with a pulverulent fugacious covering.

H v p o x y l o n p u n c t a t u m ; stipitatum, turbinatimi, disco truncato, albo, nigo-
punctato, extus nigrescens.
H. stipitate, turbinate, the disk truncate, white with black dots, stipes and
under surface blackish.
