cellaria by A g a r d h . It is in reality a very different plant,
and a true Conferva, which, from its peculiar appearance, may
bear the name of C. nodifarmk, and will be distinguished by
the following character :
Conferva nodiformis (mihi), filis simplicibus, brevibus, erectis, m massa
compacta scutiforme olivácea densissime aggregatis, articulis basi
pellucidis, diametro triplo vel quadruplo longioribus.
