Nat. Mifc. tab. 2 2 8 . The color is a fine yellowifh green, beautifully
barred and fpotted with black; tail long, iliarply cuneiform,
o f a rich jonquil yellow, fafciated with very numerous bars of jet
biack. On the front, juft above the beak, a fmall patch o f orange-
red ; beak d u iky ; legs pale brown; ftrudture o f the feet remarkable,
viz. much longer, and more delicate than thofe of
any other parrot, and one of the hinder claws long and iharp,
not much unlike that o f a lark.
