thefe fifties are kept in great va&s for the amufement of
the gentry, by obferving the curious ceconomy bellowed on
them by nature for the entrapping the infect tribe.

T h a t molt curious Star Fijh the AJlerias Echinites, with
twenty rays, covered with moveable fpines, like the Echini, has
been found on the Batavian fide o f the illand. It is finely engraven
by Mr. Ellis, in the 60th tahle o f his Zoophytes, and de-
fcribed at p. 206.
