Dr. Med. and physician at Roermond. St i jns presented his collection
to Teyler’s Museum (cf. Du b o i s , 1923, p. 55); it contained
among others the types of Cervus tegulensis and Cervus
rhenanus.
Between 1900 and 1910 D u b o i s himself collected a large
number of fossils at Tegelen for our collection.
In 1905 and 1906 some Tegelen fossils were presented to our
Museum by the „Rijksopsporing van Delfstoffen” (Gouvemment
Survey for the Exploration of Mineral Deposits). Presumably these
are the specimens bearing the inscription “R. O. D.”
About 1920 Dr. J. M e t z e l a a r presented some fossils he had
collected at Tegelen to Teyler’s Museum.
Our unique tooth of Crocuta perrierii comes from the collection of
Father R. We i n g a r t n e r .
Mr. J. H. H. S t o r m s , headmaster at Tegelen, sent to D u-
b o i s several Tegelen specimens, which have been incorporated
in our collection.
