This is a form of Yellow Wagtail found in Scandinavia,
North Kussia, and Siberia, extending its winter
migration to South Africa, the plains of India, Burmah,
and the Malay Peninsula. Two specimens have been
reported from Penzance.
In general appearance it is very like M. flava, but
has no white superciliary stripe. [O. S.]
