Hab. Gold Coa st, M'est Africa.
T h is is the AVest-African representative of Psalidoprocne holonieUcna, witli which
species we tit one time united it. Subsequent study, however, witli a larger series of
specimens, bas induced us to alter our previous opinion, and we uow believe tbat the
AA’cst-African Bottle-green Swallow is distinct from its South-Africau representative. It
is glossy groon, instead of being dull bottle-green witli a greenish-black mantle, this last
eluiraeter being very marked in Ps. Iiolomeleena.
