This speoiea ditìers from 0. Lagerhetmii ia its solitary habit, its broider and much longer oelle,
end in the very mnoh shorter spine. It is more sleader than 0. cochleare (Eiohw.) A. Br., aad the
cells are more elongate and not closely coiled.
