our Botanists in Texas or New Mexico may be so fortunate
as to find it. It is described as having a tripinnatifid frond
eight to twelve inches long, linear-oblong crenate or pinnatifid
segments, and has the lower surface matted with ciliated ferruginous
scales, beneath which are “ minute reddish apparently
resinous dots.”
