 F ruit  large,  the  form  of  a  Colmar,  angular  
 about the  eye,  a good  deal  contracted  in  the middle.  
 Eye  a  little  depressed.  S talk  rather  more  than  
 half  an  inch  long,  slightly  sunk  at  the  insertion.  
 Skin  smooth,  bright  green,  in  which  state  it  remains  
 for  some  time  after  the  fruit  is  g a th e red ;  it  
 finally  changes  to  a  pale  green,  when  the  flesh  
 becomes  very  melting,  with  a  pleasant  copious  
 juice,  which  is  unusually  rich  and  refreshing.
