the base, pointed a t the summit, with a surface
almost like that of a Clingstone.
A capital sort.
The French Chancellor of the Nurseries, and of
the Horticultural Society’s Fruit Catalogue, No. 41,
is probably not distinct from this. The name appears
to have originated in a Nursery in the North
of England.
