MASCULI : In amentis fìliformibus, nudi vel ad utrumque
staminum latus bracteolâ interna insLracti, ecalyculati,
conformati e staminibus deiinitis (4-6, rarissime 8),
fdamentis inferne sub-monadelpìiis, axillce bractece
exterioris insertis.
FEMINEI : In amenta ovata vel cylindrica congesti, ad
basin ovarii cujusque bracteolis nonnuUis inlernis
persistentibus aneti. Ovarium solitarium, basi cum
calyce, sive involucro, ex squamulis glanduliformibus
minutis creberrimis formato, cohoerens, uniloculare,
ovulo unico erecto, stylo bipartito terminatum.
FRUCTUS : Drupoe discretee, calyce sub-baccato granulato
indusse, et ex parte vel ex toto cum eodem cohoerentes,
ìiuce monosperma, indehiscente. Emhryo exalbuminosus,
inversus, cotyledonihus carnosis, plano-convexis.
