15- büerratum incompUtum (M.). A large form of biserratum somewhat depauperated
in respect to th e pinnules, which are here aud there m an irregular way
slightly reduced in size, and variously misshapen. Found m Somersetshire at
Nettlecombe by Mr. Elworthy.
16* curtum (M.). The fronds of th is curious form are short and triangular, six or
eiirht inches long and about five inches across th e base. The pinme are rath er
irreoular, crowded ; th e pinnules when least developed resemble those of
Userratum (15), h u t are in some p arts more or less pinnatifid approaching to
plumosum (31). In all th e fronds we have seen, th e basal pair of pinnæ have
