General Characters.
Leathery to corky, wedge shaped, light, lurid, brown zoned.
Vermilion. Cap leathery, thin, kidney shaped, shining, obsoletely concentrically
furrowed. Stem lateral, short, circularly dilated at base.
Leathery, flattened on both sides, concentrically furrowed and zoned,
shaggy haired, verdigris to grey.
Tow-like, semicircular, rigid, mostly run together in serial order, concentrically
furrowed, ve lve ty, brick red or yellowish tan.
Fan shaped, rigid when dry and inflexed. Cap thin, many zoned,
chestnut red. Stem disc shai>ed.
