Young Seals at first grow with great ; by the end ot July th(

parts. After this these immatures increase slowly, and do not put on m
a foot in length and are seldom fat at ail# year old. They continue
slowly/ and though considered to be adult at four years old I believe 1
on much, weight: and size subsequently.
