Frutescens, nana, glabra,sublævigata, subfastigiato-v. hemisphærico-dumulosa.. Cauliculis confer-
tissime foliosis, dichotomis, demura 3-5-pollicaribus. Foliis persistentibus, carnosis, crassis, glaucis,
obovato-v. lanceolato-spathulatis. Scapis brevibus, strictis, supra medium dichotomis; ramulis omnibus
florigenis. Spicis laxis, brevibus, pauci-spiculatis.
Fruticulus palmaris v. et humilior, ramosissimus, erectus v. subdiffusus, dumulum compactum subfastigiatum v. fere he-
misphsericum efformans, sempervirens, foliis et inflorescentia læviusculus (oculo nudo lævigatus, sùb lente tuberculis minimis
concavis creberrimis punctatus). Caddex vetulus 2-3-pollicaris, digiti minoris crassitie, tortuosus, inferne simplex, superne
cauliculos confertissimos subdichotomos graciles (ad maximum crassitie calami anserini) foliosos lignescentes agens. F olia
5-7 lineas longa, confertissima, patentia v. recurva, avenia, enervia v. Obsolete i-nèrvia, plana v. subconcava, ecarinata,
lanceolato-v. obovato-spathulata, obtusissima v. acuminulata, in petiolum vaginantem angustata, basibus imbricata. Scapi
ad cauliculos annotinos terminales (perinde alares v. quasi axillares), solitarii, erecti, breves, graciles, subteretes, superne
paree dichotomi, articulati, articulationibus generis more squamigeri. Sqüamæ minütæ, subcoriaceæ, brunneæ, ovatæ, acu-
