SPECIFIC CHARACTER.
Erect, branched, somewhat smooth; leaves alternate and opposite, lanceolate,
asparagus-green beneath; peduncles one-flowered, axillary; capsules globose,
4-sided, shining; calicine segments large, coloured and crowned. B.
