species of this genus. It is a much rarer bird than T, [joffini.
It was observed on the banks of the rivers Moonda and Camma, in Western Africa, by
Duchaillu. He states that they frequent the forests in small flocks, and feed on fruits and
insects.
Our plate and description are taken from an adult specimen, belonging to the Leiden
Museum, and lent to us by Professor Schlegel.
