Sexes alike. Body green ; the head and neck dark earthy brown ; the feathers of the
neck longitudinally streaked towards the tip with pale yellowish; the upper back and wingcoverts
dark green with an ochreous tinge, the former narrowly centred and the latter finelytipped
with yellowish white; the quills brown, the edge of the inner web and exterior edge
of the primaries cream colour ; the rest of the upper plumage rich green. Entire throat
