The female is like the mule, but the colours loss bright. Bill, pale
yellowish red; ins, brown; the chesimt-colovired patch round the eye
is smaller and not so perfect. The ring round the neck is not so distinct,
and smaller in size; the mark on the breast is not so well
defined or large as in the male; the feathers of the back are tinged
with "rev 'flu- white on the wings is less pure; secondaries and
tertiaries, tinged with grey. Legs and toes, pale yellowish red.
