P. fronds lanceolate, lax, horbaceo-ohartaoeous, bipinnate ; pinnules
distinct, oblong or ovato-subfalcate, auricled, bluntisb or acute, with
an obtuse-angled base, attached hy a distinct stalk, lobed or serrated,
the serratures tipped hy soft bristles ; sori terminal or subterminal.

perfect ones linear acute, with an auricle, but the majority moro
or less depauperated, often cuneate, tho upper ones confluent into a
linear lobato-serrate apex; upper pinnæ ' liuoar-falcate auricled,
