The Vied Blackbird.

ITS Bill was of lovely yellow, as in others of the male
Kind of this Species; the Pupil of the Eyes black,
thelrides yellow; the Top of its Head and upper Side of
its Neck white, with tranfverfe Lines of black; the under
Side of the Neck and Breaft fpotted with oblong Spots of
black down the Breaft; on the lower Part black with fome
tranfverfe Lines of white ; it had alfo four large Spots
of white, two on the upper Coverts, and two on the
fcapular Part of the Wing: All the reft of the Body,
Wings, Belly, Thighs- and Tail were black.
The Legs and Feet dusky brown; the Claws black.
This Bird was fent me by Sir Robert jibdy, and collected
by a Gentleman as a great Curigiity.
