Wilson, converting with R aa Kook on the fubjedt of thé

from that had attended the King at this time ; the General,
in anfwer, enumerated the places in the following order, beginning
at the northward; Eivtungs, Aramalorgoo, Emil-
legue, Arragüy, Coorooraa, Car agar a, ’Pkthoull,
the fmall ifland fo often mentioned, and whofe name was
hot till nów kndwn,and OROobbWG, or mglb/bmen’s ifland.
RaA Kook feemed very defirous to be at Pelew, and made
this vifit the ftiorteft he had ever favoured the Englifi with,
leaving them immediately after dinner, and all the canoes
going with him. He defired. the Captain to fend his boat
for fome moloffes and torches, o f which they were in want,
our people being defirous o f referving their, fugar-candy and
candles for the voyage. '
In the evening, the jolly-boat was got ready, and Mr.
Sharp, with four o f the men, went to Pelew, to congratulate
the King on his eftablifhing peace, and to bring
