Aduli (Senegal).—Crown, upper surface of body, wings, and tail parrot-green, the feathers on
the crown slightly tipped with pale cobalt-blue; nape and bind neck warm rufcscent-btuT, the
fore part of the back tinged with the same colour; primary-quills slightly tipped with dull
blackish, the secondaries, all but the elongated inner ones, broadly terminated with deep black,
and crossed at the base of the black by a narrow blue line; tail rufescent orange tinged with
green, the two central rcctrices being, however, green like the hack; lores and a patch extending
through the eye over the car-coverts deep black, slightly bordered with tiuquoise-bluc, there being
also an indistinct turquoise-blue line over the forehead; chin and throat rich glossy carmine-red;
