over the eye is a pah- brownish yellow stripe. Head, crown, neck on
the back, and nape, uniform light brown; chin, throat, and breast, white,
delicately tinged with brown, and the last named fawn-colour on the
sides; back, light brown. The wings have the first quill feather very
siion, the second and third nearly equal in length. Primaries and
secondaries rather darker brown, the edges paler. Underneath, the
wings are delicate fawn-colour; tail, light brown, underneath greyish
brown, the shafts white; upper tail coverts, uniform light brown; under
tail coverts, delicate fawn-colour; logs, light brown; toes and claws,
darker brown,
The female does not differ appreciably from the male.
