inferne e cortice denigrata, nigrescente formatum; acervuli verruciformes,
subsparsi, peridermio transverse rupto arcte cincti, magni, ovoidei,
usque 5 mm. longi ; perithecia in quoque acervulo 4-6, subinde circa stroma
circinantia, discreta vel sat dense sed irregulariter stipata, superne pruina,
basi cortice denigrata, nigrescente immersa, globulosa vel oblonga, mutua
pressione subinde parum compressa, in collum pro situ plus minusve elon-
galum producta; ostiola vix exserta, integra; asci copiosissimi, clavati, breviter
