Perislomium
This elegant plant, to wliich the name of concinna seems to be
so peculiarly applicable, cannot be mistaken for any hitherto
known species of Moss. Its habit is like that of many Neckercei
but the peristome is that of a Leskea,- and this circumstance,
together with the direction of the leaves, and the presence of the
stipules, will bring it near to the Leskea pennata,fiUculceformis,
and rolulata.
