others black, with a broad white space at the end of each of the
three outermost, the fourth just tipped with white; the two outer
feathers are scarcely half the length of the middle ones; the others
gradually shorten to them. The legs, of a light blue colour, black
according to Meyer, are covered on the upper part with large feathers;
the toes, two placed behind and two before, arc also light blue.
The female closely resembles the male. The four middle tail feathers
are cinereous brown, tinged with olive, with a greenish reflection;
and the white on the breast is more dull than in the male bird.
