This species might readily be confounded with the next.
Cl. moniliferum, in which the reproductive granules are in a
single series, and not scattered as in Cl. Ehrenbergii.
The synonyms given require revision, on account of Ehren-
berg having confounded two species.

however, is a more elongated and more slender plant.

The striæ in this species are finer, and the frond larger
