T o explain the force o f the synonymous letters on paper would be impossible ; the reader, however, may form some idea o f the indispensable necessity o f knowing the distinction b y the few words here selected, which to one unaccustomed to hear the A rabic language spoken, would appear similar and undistinguishable.
