of humours likewife falling upon the Nerves , and MemWapes
of the Teeth, they grow loofe, turn black, become hollow gad
decay, and thence enfue yjolent Tooth-Ajehsc^Rydtafe Acrimonious
Particles continually vellicating thofe parts, ajftnpor
and Numbnefs, I prefume, muft neceflarily follow, from an Qb-
ftru&ion of the Spirits, Vermiculations or Gteep&igs, Cqfduefe,
Itching, or Stinging, from the fame Humours lodging upon the
Mufcles and Membranes, as likewife thofe’ violent Hemftranias,
and Head-Achs, which are often periodical.. Somefiingl happen
unruly Gripes in the Stomach and Bowels, fometimef■ dry,
at other times attended with a Diarrhsea or Purging, the one
may be caufed by a Saline Acrimonious Vifcid Phlegme, adhering
to the Coats of the Stomach and Bowels, the other by an Acrimonious
Choler. It is obfervable thefe Symptoms happen frequently
about the Autumnal iEquinox, and commonly after a
very hot Summer, one as I prefume, by the intenfe heat of the
Weather generating too great a quantity of Bile, and the other
by the North-Weft-Winds, common at that time of the Year
which implete the Air with faline particles, which is manifeft at
that Seafon more than ufual. A remarkable inftance in this cafe
